- 1. How can I join a conference from my work station?Via ConferenceMe on the CODIAN plateform (Windows only) or via Scopia Desctop on the SCOPIA platform (Windows and Mac OSX). Refert to the user manual for more informations.

- 3. When I try to connect myself to a SCOPIA plateform, I can dial the conference number, but I can not type the access code.Tty to call the bridge typing directly the conferecne number on the call. For instance, 194.214.202.146##9999, to directly call the test room.
- 4. When I try to connect myself with ConferenceMe on a CODIAN platform, I am disconnected with following message: « disconnected due to a network error »Check if your firewall or yout antivirus does not block the application, you can disable it during the conference time.
- 5. The ConferenceMe link « cme ... » to connect from my terminal is not valid.Copy / paste the example link straightly to your browser, for instance: http://ccmsem04.renater.fr/confernece_join_cme.html?name="9999 - CAFE".
The conference and mcu name must be modified according to your connection parameters received by email.
Warning, all spaces are important: "9999 - CAFE"

When I try to connect myself with Scopia Desktop, the button « Join in » stay grey int.Check that the « Conference Client Dispatcher » is well positionned to « Always active »
- 7. Does RENAVisio provide a recording or streaming service?These services are not proposed.
- 8. My video conference does not exists,A videoconference is available only 10 minutes before the scheduled time, it will not be shown before.
- 9. Who can use RENAVisio?Everybody can use the service, in France or abroad, from RENATER community or not. By the way, only institutions having RENATER approval and having an identity federation can make a reservation.
- 10. How much is the Service?This service is integrated in the RENATER offer without additionnal cost (communication cost may exist, for instance for the telephone access).
- 11. Does a conference test exist?A conference test is available 24/7 on every platform: the CAFE room on each CODIAN bridge, with id 9999# and without access code, and the 9999 room on SCOPIA bridge, with id 9999# and access code 0000#.
- 12. For how long in advance can I schedule my conference?You can schedule your conferences up to three months in advance.
- 13. I want to organize a conference only for workstationsFor this use case, it is suited to use the https://rendez-vous.renater.fr service. Besides being cross-plateform, this service do not need any specific installation and is used straightly from a web browser.
- 14. Under OSX, the link https://desktop.visio.renater.fr/...&autojoin do not execute the Scopia Desktop application.From a workstation under OSX, while starting to connect to a Scopia videoconference via the URL https://desktop.visio.renater.fr/..., if the field "ID of the meeting' (or 'conference ID') is locked, follow the next steps:
- Start manualy the scopia-desktop application previously installed on your workstation under OSX (by default, it's installed under the repository /username/Applications/Scopia Desktop)
- In the opening window, fill the form:
- Web portal address: desktop.visio.renater.fr
- Meeting ID: the conference number to join (without the #)
- Access code: without the #
- 15. I'm looking for a conference by dateIt is possible to search for a conference according to a date criterion.
To do so, you can enter your date in the search field.
The expected date format is yyyy-mm-dd.
More information here. - 16. I want to duplicate a conferenceIt is possible to duplicate a conference by clicking on the "Duplicate" button, available for each conference in the list of all your conferences, in progress, planned and ended.
